My name is Brenden McPeek. I am the lead singer/emcee/lyricist in Shachah. For the last 3 years the Lord has allowed us to travel and play the music that He has blessed us with. It has been amazing to see the Lord minister through worship and evangelism. He has never failed us once. I am currently living in Yucca Valley, (aka: Yuc Town). I have been having a blast writing and playing music with such a gifted group of godly men. My band-mates are like brothers to me and our relationship on and off the road reflects that. My vision and Shachah’s vision is to revive a generation with fresh new music that is appealing to the masses and most of all that is Christ centered. I take a lot of time when writing the lyrics for this band. I feel like it is my responsibility as the “voice” of this band to be doctrinally sound and to reflect a real relationship with Jesus through the lyrics. I have been writing lyrics and poetry since a very young age. Jesus is my passion and expressing that passion is my calling. I believe that true worship is a lifestyle lived before the Lord.
